Batley Ladies Season Roundup

Following on from our AGM we've good a round up of the season.

We did well, we came 5th again, but with more teams in the league overall this year. We had the second lowest number of goals conceded in a league a testament to our amazing goal keeper, Helen and defence, who have saved us many a time!

Thanks we're made to the leadership team, Vicky, Helen and Newby have worked well together this season and agreed to do it again next season. They are glutten for punishment.

We've had amazing commitment this season, better than any of the last 5 seasons I've played for Batley. It's been a pleasure to have 15 people wanting to play every week, and to have the problem of too many players instead of not enough. We hope this can continue in to next season.

Trophies were presented to Helen, Vicky, Fretters, Mel & Gail who will all enter the Batley Ladies Hall of Fame after their performances this season.
