Batley Ladies is a friendly club welcoming players with a little or a lot of experience!

We have one team playing in the Yorkshire Hockey League and play most Saturdays between September and March.

Whether you're looking for fitness, friendship, competitive play if you have a little experience, Batley Ladies has you covered.

We don't train, we're really not that committed, we want to play and have fun. We only ask that you commit to matches.

Winter League

Matches are played most Saturdays between September and March, see the fixtures for more details.

The cost to play is £5 per match, usually we go back to the home team's venue for refreshments afterwards

The home ground is at Heckmondwike Grammar School and home matches are usually at 10.30am.

Summer League

A summer league is played between Yorkshire clubs at a similar level on a weekday evening at a fixed venue between May and July. Matches are played on half a pitch, have 7 players on a team and last for 25 minutes each way. The exact details summer league change from year to year.

Summer League 2015

Played at Adel Hockey Club on Thurdsay Nights at either 7:30 or 8:30, cost to play is £5.
